New updates and improvements to Password Pusher
← Back"Purge After" Settings in Account Policy
New
When a Push or Request expires, sensitive content and attached files are fully deleted; however, metadata such as audit logs and original expiration settings remain. While some users require this data temporarily, long-term retention is often unnecessary.
We have added two new "Purge After" settings to the Account Policy, allowing optional deletion of this metadata after a specified period:
- Pushes --> Options --> Purge After:
New Push Purge Option - Requests --> Options --> Purge After:
New Request Purge Option
These features are disabled by default. Available options for purging are:
- Disabled (default)
- 3 months
- 6 months
- 1 year
- 2 years
- 3 years
When enabled, expired items will be deleted after the selected duration, calculated from the expiration date. Please note that once purged, data is irretrievable.
